His Good Work in You Completed . . . Kimberly McGary Today at 10:38 PM Today was a day of rest for me. The excitement and activities of the week with family, though wonderful, required me to rest extra today. I still felt pretty good, even though I was tired. I had a long nap after breakfast this morning, which helped refresh me. Then, this afternoon, Mom, Ellie Mae, and I took a walk and walked further than I have since coming home from the hospital. Yea! I did learn that I have to keep the pulse oximeter flat and steady on my hand if I want accurate readings while walking. We had to stop a couple of times along the way because my heart rate was getting too high and my oxygen too low, but the stops were short. I praise the Lord for each bit of improvement! As I think about how the Lord continues to heal my physical body bringing improvement each day and how grateful I am for it, I cant help but be just as happy to see spiritual improvement and growth in my life. Just as the Lord works to continue healing in my body, He works to bring growth to my spirit and soul. The best part is, He wont quit until I am finished! He will complete the work in me He started! It is His promise for you, too dear friend. Philippians 1:6 . . . Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. Father, I thank You and praise You tonight for Your continued healing in my body and ever sustaining hand. Thank You for the rest and refreshment I gained today. It has been a good week all week long. Thank You for Your favor and blessings. I am grateful tonight for Your promise that You will continue the work in me that You started when I became Your child. Never do I have to be concerned that You will not finish. You even emphasize it by telling me to be confident You will do it. That means, You want me to expectantly anticipate it! Father, as I come before You tonight, it is with confident expectation for Your completing process to continue in me physically, emotionally, and spiritually. You are good and You constantly do good things in, through, and for me. You bless me beyond measure. Thank You, Father. I love You. With Confident Expectation, Kimberly
