His Holiness Meets the Syrian Orthodox Priests of Mosul On August 21, 2014, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II met the Syrian Orthodox priests of Mosul who are currently in the region of Kurdistan in the presence of their Eminences Mor Nicodemus Daoud Sharaf, Archbishop of Mosul and Environs and Mor Dionysius Jean Kawak, Patriarchal Office Director. His Holiness directed the priests with fatherly words, encouraging them to continue their humanitarian work. He discussed with them also the tragic events in Mosul and the Nineveh Plains. He listened to their concerns and gave the necessary advice that help them in this crisis. His Holiness thanked His Eminence Archbishop Daoud and the priests for their efforts praying the Lord to give them strength, hope and faith.
