Holy crap, Cummins is doing a ninja dance film lol, seen this on Independent Drama page - DANCE CASTING FOR NINJA FILM The Art of the Shinobi Dance Auditions Default Media in partnership with Aimimage and Ice Film are currently auditioning dancers to take part in a viral promoting one of the leading authorities on Shinobis, (more commonly known as ninjas) Anthony Cummins. With the use of dance and movement we are unfolding the world of the ninja into the present day, exploring how we inhibit our local space through the sounds we hear, the breath we breath, the shadows we create and the foot prints we leave. The project will be shot by a leading cinematographer known for his music video and feature film work. The three roles we are casting for are not gender or race specific although dancers must be over the age of 18. Auditions will be held near Royal Oak station between 1pm and 3pm on Saturday the 23rd of August. They have a predatory quality, which is sometimes menacing, sometimes playful as they stalk and taunt their targets. Dancer Specs: Contemporary with the ability to adapt to styles of locking, popping, top rock and capoeira. The Listening Scout - The character is animated sound, acting as a ‘human equalizer’ (Jabbawockeez & Super Cr3w at Red Bull BC One Finals Brazil) in regard to the music. The pace of the sequence is disjointed and slow. Dancer Specs: Popping and locking. Re-animator. The Watchman - The character is animated sight. The movement is expansive and spider-like, moving from frantic and tense to flowing and slow. Dancer Specs: Top-rock. Capoeira. Contemporary. Experimental.
