Home from Gran Canaria to find it is just as hot in blighty! On 21st I fished for carp in the mountains with Karl Dand a great lad from Runcorn! We had both booked a days fishing with Dave Beecham of carp fishing Gran Canaria and what an experience starting with the journey up the mountain to the lake at over 3000ft where we caught three carp apiece in the blistering heat! They were all big scaled hard fighting mirrors that fought deep in the blue tinged lake surrounded by a moonscape of rock and scrub. It was lovely to be in a wild place all on our own with nothing more than croaking frogs for company! Well recommended if you are going to the Island on holidays!
