Home in Madrid after 5-6 days in La Manga, including: 1 sunburn (After 10 years of no proof what so ever, Spanish family seems to still think that, because some Norwegians tan a lot, it is just a question os stranding me somewhere without shade for a really long time), 1 trip to a shopping mall in Cartagena, in which the kids rode mobile token propelled teddybears (great invention), 1 Ibicenca beach party, wearing a long, white (not my colour, but hey, white is the Indian colour of mourning, so i guess appropriate) dress and dancing for hours with the queen of the dance floor, Alma, who was sporting a Frida Kahlo style flowery headband, and finally a lot of sleep thanks to my morther-in-law in particular. It is beautiful down there, even though I am made for a completely different climate and find the humidity, heat and harsh sun quite insufferable. Been thinking a lot about my father and the roller coaster that is life.
