How and when I met my wife. My wifes name is Merry Ann. In 2001 I bought my first computer, and so did she. I did not like the background pictures already on the computer, so looked for some pictures of England. Back then the only pictures I found was of London or the tourist stuff. There is more to England than that, I had some old This England magazines, which had high quality pictures plus I was a lorry driver with a camera. I started putting nice pictures of Englands countryside, villages and thatched cottages. In was now June 2001, I was putting these pictures on a site called Webshots, Merry Ann was downloading them. She sent a comment saying how she loved thatched cottages, and was I going to put more on. As she was the first person to write a comment, I dedicated the next cottage to her, well how did I know it was her birthday. (Bingo). We started emailing, then we chatted online. I at that time had no intention of getting into another relationship, nor did she. Both of our first marriages were painful. This is now June 2002, July I was made redundant, had some money and time. So planned to visit Merry Ann in the September, She was excited as much as I was. I arrived at Minneapolis Airport, only to be refused entry. escorted by armed guard onto next plane back to England. Merry Ann was devastated, but we continued chatting online and by phone. I would phone her from wherever I stayed over night being a lorry driver. On November 9th 2003 we got married by proxy over the phone. She was at her local Church I was at a friends house. Merry Ann suffers from Agoraphobia, But she overcame that and came to England in May 2004, we married for the second time in Milton Keynes. Merry Ann returned to America in the November, but came back 6 months later and stayed till I got my Visa. The Visa took over 3 years to get, as the forms were lost in the system.. We finally arrived here in July 2008. I never thought I would be this happy. I love her dearly, we never argue or get upset with each other. This is the gist of our story. The only trouble is I have 2 anniversaries to remember. November 8th and July 19th.
