How in Heavens name does requiring a voter ID or shortening early voting days restrict only black voters? If someone can give me a reasonable answer to this I will surely take the time to listen. State is willing to make the ID free and believe me, after being involved in numerous elections, I feel that extended early voting was a big waste of money particularly for the candidate. If you cant vote over the period of a week, then you dont need to. My mother was 82 when she died. She had no drivers license (her choice) but the month her license expired, she had a NC ID card. So dont give me the elderly excuse.
