Out of peer pressure and sheer boredom: #BookBucketChallenge: 10 Books/Series that have made me everything that I am today:- 1. Anne Of Green Gables (Everything I could ask for from a book. This series is the reason why I love reading so much) 2. The Harry Potter Series (Duh. I have cried and laughed and fallen in love and been hypnotized- the essence of my entire childhood summed up) 3. Matilda, The Witches, The BFG and EVERY SINGLE THING written by Roald Dahl. (The man continues to remain my hero) 4. The Prophet (Cant thank my dad enough for MAKING SURE I read this wonderful, wonderful composition) 5. The Old Man And The Sea (It raises goosebumps every single time I read it. One of the most fantastically written works Ive come across) 6. Khaled Hosseini- The Kite Runner, A Thousand Splendid Suns (Enough said) 7. The St. Clares Series, Famous Five, Secret Seven and most of Enid Blytons work (The reason I was jumping in excitement at the prospect of going to a boarding school at the age of 8) 8. Sidney Sheldon (Guilty pleasure. Anyone who knew me in school would know my obsession with his books) 9. The Hunger Games (Shut up) 10. A Child Called It (I dont know how I came across it. All I know is that I cried for a week and my mom ultimately hid it because she could not understand why I would keep reading something that made me so miserable.) New on my bucket list: How To Not Be A Cliche. :/ Pavni Agrawal, Abhiroop Roy Chowdhury, happy? Akshat Mahajan, Sharvil Thatte, Nikita Ramani, Augustus Henry, Leonard Henry : you guys are up.
