How to Secure Our Children’s Future: By Kabi Joshi (Independent): We all know our children need to grow. Going one step further, they need to grow in a Secured, Peaceful, Informative, Pollution Free, Healthy, Having freedom of Speech, Right to Questioning , Fear Free, Free and Quality Education, Right to Sports, Nutritional needs, Child Care for Physically and Mentally Disabled ones, Easy Access to Affordable Healthcare Facilities and not to mention their psychological needs at different times & most importantly “The Human Rights” & Economically diverse and competitive, well the line may go on……… Environment. So it is time to decide because time passed never return. How they get that? 1. First they need a peaceful and happy home. 2. To achieve that (nr 1) ; they need permanent & functioning government so that their parents / guardians are not occupied with the day to day bogus politics and uncertainty of tomorrow. 3. To achieve Point nr 2; We Need a very competitive Constitution: Not a failed one like Nepali Kangress proposing this time. 4. To achieve Point nr 3; We need a constitution that will last for Next 500 years so that we do not have to go for election every 1 or 2 or 5 years to get new one. This demands very short but clear constitution. Examples are: Brizil, UK(don’t have written one), USA(only 10 points are there) 5. To achieve point nr 4; We certainly need a constitution where the powerful functioning government is headed by a person elected by people from all over Nepal. No Candidate shall be allowed to run more than twice. No reservation shall be done in any case. This results in more than 60 years of Indian Experience where 14 million slaves still live today. The most slaves within a country. Thanks to its political system and the reservation policy. Fact Source: CNN and Al Jazzira. 6. To achieve nr 5; We need to support people or at this situation having no left with no other alternatives, the PARTIES who supports above said type constitution or idea. 7. To achieve nr 6; We must assume god is not coming to earth or Nepal to run this country, neither some intelligent person like Bill Clinton or Barak Obama. We need the government and it’s Institutions make the elected Nepalese Politicians compelled / forced to plan, execute and monitor their policies (we will choose them first on their policies) and their implementation. Which we don’t have now . So strong and democratic (which includes human rights) constitution is our first demand. 8. Once again to achieve point 7, First we need a constitution that have two houses in government both elected by people at different times, have a representative of country (powerful President / PM or what ever post name) directly elected by the people of Nepal, not be the MLA’s or “Sansads”. All 30 or more million people must choose one and only one president or PM. 9. To get a best candidate, every party must approve their candidate from the people through the election directly from all Nepalese people at their own expense. We will vote only that kind of candidate. 10. President shall be chief of all police and Army and chief of Army & Police shall be appointed, managed or even replaced by the President who is twice (within the party) and Inter-Party elected by people of Nepal. 11. The Chief of Court’s shall be completely Managed by such President. However have no power should be given to her/him on any decisions by courts. 12. The important and all criminal cases shall be heard and decided by JURY (Randomly selected Nepalese Citizens) and their identities shall be kept secret till the verdict is over. Their telephone and other media shall be tapped by court and strict rules shall apply for them to meet / talk to people. 13. The system of CDO (Pramukh Jilla Adhikari) shall be scrapped. What a shame that CDO gives justice even today. This violates human rights completely giving large amount of power to police (who is paid by the people) that a single non judicial person allowed to give such verdict. 14. All armed forces shall be kept underground unless emergency cases. All police forces shall be accounted for their behavior or human right abuses. People shall be able to take them to court of justice. This includes all citizens including the President of the country. 15. Party system politics run by Girija Prasad Koirala shall be scrapped completely as it is a failed system for Nepal. So “Nepali Kongress Party” shall not be supported at all. Well, they are always free to go to India to do the type politics they want. Please.... give us some break. Lot of things to do, but nothing is possible unless first we get the CONSTITUTION OF OUR CHOICE FIRST. So please think before you vote. All above said stuff are only possible by voting Maoists in this election. They may run and win election once and if nothing happens, next smart and young generation will emerge to be the next – next powerful President of Nepal. Things will change. I wrote this because I know how the world works. How do I know, well lived, studied, worked in six countries for past 24 years and visited 15 more at the same time. I am Very well trained as an Engineer. Please do not listen any crap in this election, just focus on “How to get a constitution”. After that is things will be easy for all of us to follow up. At this time, Constitution is more important and who did what or who will do what is not. Leader, who say I will do this and that, don’t believe them. Just focus on which party will be able to give us the “Best & above said constitution”. That’s all. We don’t need no more at this point of time as we know, no body will do anything unless a strong constitution will push them to be slave for the people as they know people have power. This will enable our children’s Future so that they work for Nepal not to go out to become slaves of other people in Gulf and other countries. Thank you all for reading this powerful message.
