***How to successfully deal with Negativity*** So I saw a video of Dag heward mills preaching n in it he said sth like gh girls cant cook jollof and they are left with only 5% and his congregation made a song out of it which he sang some...I undoubtedly thought that was funny, a humble and free spirited personality to joke and come down to the level of his congregation and joke with them...I really admired that...surprisingly I read comments and found quite a number of people insulting him. Few days ago, I watched Joel Osteen video on youtube, he preached a clear message and then again I went to read comments and to my surprise, people commented he is a fake preacher, phony, feel good preacher and other negative stuff etc... I listened to Cindy trim preach on wealth and people insulted her and called her prosperity preacher n im like what kind of hypocrisy is this? Jesus offered us the gift of salvation, preach on salvation n u ve no problem, Jesus promised us wealth preach on wealth n bam u are branded prosperity preacher Point im making is no matter what you do, People will talk and say negative stuff. But this is how to get over it n I wanna share with u incase you come across such negativity in your personal life. .. Philippians 4:8 ► Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things. You see this scripture said think on the good things it never said think on the negative things. ..so basically shake off the negativity and think on only the good things.... so someone may call you stupid, ugly, arrogant etc...someone may also call you smart, wise, beautiful and humble...Now its ur choice what you accept, scripture tells us to accept the true and good ones....You cant control what others think or say about you but you can control what you allow to get to you.... There will always be people who cant mind their own business and find pleasure in finding fault with you mostly out of jealousy....Ignore them n shake it off.....
