Howdy Friends, Some years ago I got a chance to read a copy of ‘Battlefield Earth’ by L. Ron Hubbard. I couldn’t afford a new one so I got one at a used book store. It’s a really big and thick book, very intimidating with its sheer size, I thought. I also thought, hey maybe if I read this, Mr. Hubbard will be the whole time, trying to convince me to join his church? Nothing could be further from the truth. As I read ‘Battlefield Earth,’ I discovered that it was simply a Great Science fiction novel. Mr. Hubbard did not try to convince me to join up with his church. And I enjoyed the book tremendously!
