Huey is back home. His X-rays didnt turn up anything suspicious - TopicsExpress

Huey is back home. His X-rays didnt turn up anything suspicious which is good, however, the vet said his nose should not still be infected. It appears as if the next step will be to put Huey under anesthesia so that the vet can probe around the infected area. She would also like to get a better look at his mouth. Due to the scar tissue in his mouth, especially around his gums, it is very difficult to even see his back teeth. The vet took another fecal sample and will have the results back tomorrow night. She suspects that as he begins to heal, different parasites will present themselves. She gave Huey some medicine to help ease the diarrhea. Dr. De la Paz will have a quote by tonight and send it to 2nd Chances Rescue as well as myself. Just off the top of her head, it seems as if we are looking at another $1,000. Thanks to all of Hueys followers, I was able to pay his bill off today. We will need to raise the additional estimated $1,000.00 for his next procedure. I will post the donation link shortly, I need a short break. Blessings to you all. #huey #2ndchancesrescue
