He will still retain his SC, ST, OBC status ° He will receive inflation adjusted Rs 600 per year, till he cancels Economic-choice & he cannot apply in Reserved quota. He will be eligible for reservation the day he cancels his Economic-choice ° If a person has taken seat on SC/ST/OBC quota, he will not be eligible for Economic-choice. Gareeb SC/ST/OBC me approx 85% bachhe 12th class paas nahi kar paate & beech me hi padhai chodd dete hai islie reservation se unhe koi matlab nahi hai. Iss Kanoon se agar 5 logo ki family hai toh unhe saal ke 3000rs milenge islie woh Reservation chodd ke Economic class chunenge.
