Hurricanes celebrated the occasion of completion of 2 years of their Academy here at Vasant Kunj with a comfortable win over Central Reserve Police Force yesterday. The atmosphere was electric & Band of Kepitos from France made this occasion memorable for everyone & they played national anthem of France & Hindustan before comencing of the tournament & kept entertaining the slim crowd on or outside the arena. Touch tournament won by Band of Kepitos & they beat Healthline gym in closely contested final match. They were brilliant at the time but mediocre also. They struggled in Scrums & Line outs but made 11 tries in the match. Could have scored much more despite not at their best today. Neeraj was outstanding again in the match. Phunty & Deepak were good despite under pressure most of the time & U-19 captain Bharat gave a much improved performance in the match. Hurricanes made few brilliant moves in the match & some of them converted in the tries but at the same time missed many opportunities just before the try line. Team will prepare for next one month for All India 7s, which will be at Srinagar next month. Bhole ka bai bum.
