Fine. Amanda Alexander. Here goes: 1. I love my kids more than life itself. My heart swells every time I lay eyes on them. 2. I was a very open and bubbly child (think social butterfly who never learned about stranger danger), but I turned into a very angry, introverted, moody teenager, and now Im somewhere in between. 3. I have frequent night terrors, so Im not a whole lot of fun to sleep with. 3. My oldest is a mini-me of his father (right down to their twin 50 year old brains) and my youngest is basically a clone of me (from her tiny ears to her squirrelly brain, to her ghetto booty, down to her tiny feet). 4. When I am out of sorts, listening to loud hard rock music while driving aimlessly is my balm. 5. I have RA (or mayb lupus, or mayb neither one, but certainly autoimmune inflammatory and bad----12 mo later we still dont really know) and not yet found a med to get it under control. 6. Ty and I have been married for 10 hard years. Didnt have all of our newlywed kinks out when we became parents the 1st time. Nursing school. Mama working full time as a nurse. Pregnant again----yea! Sick sick sick 2nd child. Chronic illnesses w/frequent dr/er/surgery visits her 1st 3 1/2 yrs. I got sick. Lap appy and chole. Then bilateral carpal tunnel surgeries. Then RA. But, we love each other to distraction. Each struggle makes us stronger when we come out the other side. 7. My youngest was born w/a cleft soft palate. 8. I hate wearing shoes. I love to buy them (just look at my closet). I prefer to wear flip flops or be barefoot 365 days a year. I have been known to wear flip flops during a snow storm. 9. I wish i could live at the lake. We love the lake and water. Sam took her 1st steps at canton lake! 10. Being a nurse makes me whole. I truly love my job. Even when it sucks and I hate it! Taking care of patients/people is what I do.
