Husband Jon and I spent Wednesday collecting the campaigns lawn signs, crisscrossing broad parkways, driving past numerous recreation centers, and passing our treed boulevards. And each moment was filled with gratitude for my 3rd place 1st round placement for the three seat office of Park Commissioner-At-Large and now official winner. Thank you to the 18,261 voters who ranked me their 1st, 2nd or 3rd choice candidate - I am honored. To celebrate the citys win, save the date: December 29th, 4 PM to 6 PM. Details to follow.
