I AM AMERICA: i look at my life and how this country has changed during my brief 55 years, and i realize i am America. when young, i started out doing the best i could, working for what i wanted out of life, problems arose, i made mistakes, but still pushed on to try and accomplish my own independence. i grew in stature and in integrity, many scorned me for my living, but i persisted and continued my progression. many times through these years i either fell or got knocked down in ways, but again i got up, brushed myself off, and continued my progress, many thinking i would fail and fall into the society of give it to me, its my entitlement. again , i made many mistakes but even with them, i tried the best i could. now im unable to be productive, only a small idealism of what i once was, but am still proud of what i did accomplish. our country is no different, its fell many times, but i sincerely feel, there is still a deep love for what America once was, and we too will again rise up and stand for our God-given rights as Americans, even though i cannot do as i used to, there still is the compassion and desire to restore myself; even though i may never be as i was, in ways i will be better; i will overcome as my country will as well, even though it may take many seeing they actually need to get up and actually work for what they need!!! i am America, because i was born here, i didnt jump a fence or sneak in in a boat, i didnt succumb to the social entitlement life, nor have i ever faltered from my course...........i continue to get up, even have in a wheelchair, and try to do the best i can each and every day..... i am America, because my faith in God tells me as long as i know He is our only reason for being, i will accomplish simply what His intention for me always has been. im proud to be an American, i dont claim any other country, religion, or belief, i still get emotional, hearing the National Anthem, i still respect our flag and what it stands for; most importantly , i still know God is far more powerful than the socialistic , communistic government we have amongst us. i still believe in morals, integrity, and God-given prosperity.....................................I AM AMERICA!!!!!!!!
