I BELIEVE IN THE LOCAL CHURCH WITH GODLY BIBLICAL LEADERS ! BUT THE DEVIL DOES NOT CARE HOW MANY CHURCH BUILDINGS MEN CONSTRUCT JUST AS LONG AS THEY ARE FILLED WITH LUKEWARM PREACHERS AND LUKEWARM PEOPLE! The devil doesnt care how big and beautiful a church building is ! The devil doesnt care how many people attend just as long as they are just religious and lukewarm ! The devil doesnt care how big and wonderful the choir!The devil doesnt care how eloquent and educated the pastor is just as long as he does not preach and live the Truth !He loves it when he tickles the itching ears and avoids a message that reproves and corrects and calls for godly living ! The devil is not impressed by big budgets just as long as its wasted and not used to spread the gospel ! The devil doesnt care how many cool programs a church has just as long as the members live worldly carnal lives with no passion for God. 1.VANCE HAVNER Most church members live so below the Standards of God, you would have to backslide to be in fellowship with them.2.LEONARD RAVENHILL What kind of Church would my Church be if all its members were just like me.Now a congregation on fire for Jesus and filled with the Spirit and obedient to the Truth and has a pastor who feeds the flock and does not compromise with sin and is willing to preach the Truth and reach out to the lost who are going to hell,now that is a threat to the devil !A man with a backbone that will preach a burning hell,will preach against sin,who will expect to see holiness in the congregation and a passion to know Jesus and worship Him in Spirit and Truth is a real threat to the devil ! The devil fears a fellowship like this !! So whether its a house fellowship or a church that meets in a hut with a thatched roof or in a plain building or nice building,the real threat is the fact that the members are sold out to Jesus ! Success is not found in mere numbers and members !If size and numbers were so important to God why does the Word make it clear that our doctrine must be sound and those who confess Christ must live godly lives !LASTLY -Jesus started with just 12 disciples and one betrayed Him.In the upper room there were 120 praying and seeking God and were filled with the Holy Spirit ! 1,200 lukewarm people are worthless and useless to God ! May look impressive to others but not to the Lord.Yes true church growth in which people are really being born again is Gods will but not just filling a building with people who have no real passion to live for the Lord and reach the lost. READ THE BOOK OF ACTS AGAIN AND SEE WHAT GOD DID THROUGH THESE RADICAL SOLD-OUT BELIEVERS ! NO MEGA-CHURCH ! NO SEEKER FRIENDLY CHURCH !NO WORLDLY CHURCH ! BUT A HOLY CHURCH WITH GODLY LEADERS THAT GOD USED IN A MIGHTY WAY ! In Acts it says the Lord added to the Church and later the disciples multiplied !{Acts 2:47,Acts 6:7} Yes I know we are the Church but also there is the local church a place to gather together for worship ,service and fellowship and instruction in the Word of God!
