I FINALLY UNDERSTAND. WILL YOU? People have nattered on about high fructose corn syrup and I confess I pretty much ignored it as just food paranoia. Nearly everything it was in, we never ate. Besides, we cooked with corn syrup for years and fruit has fructose so what was the problem? PAY ATTENTION, ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN OR GRANDCHILDREN or if you want to avoid destroying your liver or developing Type II or dropping dead of heart disease. Ingestion of HFCS is a leading cause of SKINNY FAT PEOPLE - those who think their weight is fine but they have packed a ton of fat around their internal organs that they cannot see. Worst of all, our children are suffering the most and were doing it to them. We are literally destroying their health, most often by what we hand them to drink. There are millions of people impacted. The cost to the medical system is astronomical. By the way, some of the obese population is being impacted by this but the majority of the effects, and therefore the costs that will ultimately break the medical system, are on the side of the so-called normal individual. A couple of pediatric endocrinologists have been on a campaign to stop the impact of this substance on our health. I had no idea we have BABIES developing morbid obesity because this stuff is jammed in a lot of baby formula. Have you wondered why your grandchild is not getting rid of their baby fat? There is a simple answer. Theres even a simple solution and it has nothing to do with signing up the child to train for the Olympics.
