I NEED TO SHARE SOME OF MY REMEMBERED MEMORIES: 1. I remember when you could go to the grocery store and buy food, any food, and it wasnt suppose to kill you! Wasnt supposedly full of chemicals, wasnt posed as organic and there was no talk of G.M.O. And breakfast consisted of Wonderbread white toast, some pork bacon and some scrambled eggs cooked in the bacon grease; maybe some cereal as a starter to the breakfast with some regular whole milk! And we used a stove/oven to cook,heat things up...no microwave! 2. I remember when I could make a call on a black rotary phone and have a conversation and the call wasnt dropped and everything was clear with no static! And we hung up and went on and got some things accomplished. 3. I remember when I didnt make myself feel expected to spend valuable time and energy talking and/or replying back via a text; or trying to figure out how to take pictures and send them over my cell phone. Heck...I remember when we didnt have cell phones and life seemed to HAPPEN without them! I remember when profanity was not the normal pieces of conversations...so weary of hearing it EVERYWHERE!!!!!!! 4. I remember when the only planes that went missing were flying over the Bermuda Triangle 5. I remember when music was GOOD and we danced and laughed and boogie downed. 6. I remember when the men/boys didnt wear their pants saggin with their underwear showing. That was tacky and a no-no! 7. I remember when JEANS were not the new order dress code and people looked fairly nice pretty much most of the time. 8. I remember when there were distinctive SEASONS of the year: Spring, Summer, Fall & then Indian Summer, followed by Winter which ended in time for Spring. Each one had an obvious start and finish! 9. I remember when I wasnt using facebook as an obvious distraction when I could be accomplishing a whole lot more with my time and my life! Love yall...you will be seeing a lot less postings! I started out with my fb page being for my own personal entertainment but have immensely enjoyed making human contact all over the world.
