I always thought Brazil would bottle it during this tournament, the infamous tournament of 1950 they call the lost final.I knew the day Brazil bottled it in front of their home fans against Uruguay, would come back to haunt them. the Maracanazo, a day when one committed suicide and three had heart attacks after the final whistle.The day Pele first saw his Dad cry. A day still remembered now...like it was 9/11. The reason Brazil now wear the famous Yellow instead of the white they wore that day.A final lost on home soil. the last in brazil until this Sunday coming.They even had watches presented saying World champions everyone thought they would win it at home no doubt. They lost. 1950...Uruguay qualified because amongst others Argentina & Columbia pulled out. Germany were banned for obvious reasons....but maybe there is something in it....1950...50....5-0
