I am a 7 year old girl called Hareef. I have grown up on the streets, having never known what it is to have a loving home or an owner who cares. I have been alone my whole life. A man called Khun Sanae found me one day. He is an Animal Rescue Officer with Soi Dog and could see that I desperately needed help. I had a serious wound on my neck, which had become badly infected. I was in a lot of pain. Sanae scooped me up and took me to the Soi Dog shelter, where Dr. Frank took over. He has been caring for me every day, cleaning and dressing my wound and making sure I recover fully. I have never known such love. It is only thanks to some special Soi Dog supporters that I am here today, telling you my story. Their monthly donations meant I could be picked up and given the medical treatment I so desperately needed. Thanks to them, I now have a chance. As you read this, there are many street dogs and cats that desperately need your help. They are sick or injured and there is nobody to care for them. YOU are all they have. Just a few dollars a week would mean so many could be picked up and treated but without this, there is no hope for them. Please let them know they are not alone.
