I am beginning to see warmongers as mentally ill. And the lack of serious efforts to prevent war - including by the UN - as mass insanity. We give lip service to the idea of peace - but nothing more. We have long been at a stage of literally being able to destroy our world - but now nature is taking us on. We cant afford the stupidity of wiping ourselves out financially with wars and war games and war equipment - when our universal enemy is drought and horrific weather and sea level rise - and the death of the oceans via acidification and methane releases. While we take sides and fight our stupid wars, nature is slowly increasing its war on us. Look around this planet and SEE what is really going on! We need all of our resources of talent and money to adapt to our changing planet. We cant stop the weather and ocean changes - we can only hope to adapt ... Who has money for idiotic wars, now? Especially when we know the real reason for most of these expensive wars is ownership of oil and gas fields or territory to transport them. We fight and spend our money for the benefit of big oil companies and a relative handful of rich people, and the media conspires with them to tell us it is some just cause. Well, I have a just cause for you: providing clean water and food and shelter to billions of people on this earth who are only going to experience harder and harder times as we see nature make massive shifts. I am resenting every dollar spent on war. Not just by the USA but also by every other country - especially poor countries with super vulnerable populations who are going to take the brunt of climate change first.
