I am going to be completely honest, I have probably made, and - TopicsExpress

I am going to be completely honest, I have probably made, and broken, at least 20 New Years resolutions in my short existence on this earth. This year will be no different. But I did want to make a humble observation. You really do not need to use the “New Year” as a ticket for a better life. Remember, December 31st and January 1st are merely just calendar dates, and you should not wait for these numerical landmarks to reflect on your life and make productive changes. If you want to make changes to your daily life, then those decisions to do so should come organically. Yes, New years is most certainly deigned as a time to reflect and plan for your future, but it is not a time to force yourself into overly exaggerated feats of human potential. By definition resolutions bring a certain sense of closure to conflict, and sometimes that conflict can be entirely metaphysical. Goodbye 2014 and good riddance.
