I am having the best morning ever! I rather unexpectedly had to make an appearance in Somervell County this morning. I took the new Chisholm Trail Parkway and got here in a flash. That was my first time on the new road, and it was just me and 1 other car. I enjoyed the scenery the whole way down. Sometimes it just hits me how much I love this state. After court in a charming town square (you know how much I love those!) I find myself having a slice of buttermilk pie and black coffee at a little shop called Pie Peddlers. I am bringing back a whole cherry pie for my dad because I am the best daughter ever. Happy Friday everyone!
