I am home from my first day back at work. Honestly, I am amazed and so very grateful! I know that I will have bad days, and nothing is perfect, but I love the people I work with so much - and they clearly care about me! I had a terrific day, and feel so very blessed to finally be working in a place where I feel that I can make a difference; where I feel appreciated, and where I can give my best. In short, I am right where I belong! I thank God for being healthy enough to go back to work, to work with such great people, and be in a place where I can share the love I have to give. There was a severe flood in my office suite over the weekend, and clean-up is a mess. But everyone is working together, taking things in stride. In an atmosphere like that, it is easy to "lose it" and for tempers to flare, to be miserable. Yet, today, despite the chaos, everyone was pleasant, finding new ways and places to work and there was NO DRAMA! Truly awesome, and really does illustrate the strong character of those in this department!
