I am not Anti-fire in the least. Solving the problem of delayed ambulance response times due to ambulance shortage with having Fire depts respond is just stupid though. I do many calls everyday and the fire dept here doesnt respond.... Yet I dont see an increase in deaths. Heres a thought.... If the fire department can get there faster because theyre more numerous, put an ambulance near every fire station! If the patient is sick, send the medical professionals. If the patient is on fire, send the fire professionals.
