I am really doubtful I will see this country restored to its previous social health in my lifetime if there is no political will set out to wipe out racial politics and its arsenal of divide and conquer. But I am hopeful this country will turn around by the next generation. But the Chinese cant do it. The Indians cant do it. It is the young special breed of Malays who are super bright, confident, level headed and secure who will take this country to greater heights, hand in hand, berganding bahu with their Chinese, Indian, Punjabi and Borneon friends. Perhaps, its best for me to accept the fact that I may never see the Malaysia that was robbed from under my nose, and perhaps only my children will see it. In the meantime, I will enjoy my little Malaysia in any way I can. I will walk into any gathering of any other race or religion and NOT feel left out or different because LOVE OVERCOMES ALL. And NO politician, bigot or racist extremist from any side will ever stop me from that privilege and honour of being with my Malaysian brothers and sisters... I dont know about you... but come hell or high-water, I AM MALAYSIAN THROUGH AND THROUGH...
