I am so ashamed! Looking at the show “COPS” on MY33 cable TV there was a segment highlighted at a Miami airport where a man had been held for Drug Trafficking arriving from Trinidad and Tobago. The officer from the US Customs Division stated that arrivals from this country are “high risk” for drug trafficking. After being processed it was confirmed that the individual had ingested capsules filled with narcotics. He was then arrested. Since May 2010 the UNC led People’s Partnership government have done everything possible to dismantle the security systems that had been put in place or those that had been on-stream. The Offshore Patrol Vessels (OPV’s), Radar, Special Anti-crime Unit of Trinidad and Tobago (SAUTT)….and many other Social initiatives meant to transform norms in depressed areas had been all abandoned by this corrupt and vindictive government posing as keepers of the law, while at the same time using loopholes within that same law to accommodate thievery and advantage. Instead of enforcing the law to serve the best interest of the country, they use undemocratic means to stay in power under the protection of state security. I understand fully why body-bags, drones and armored vehicles are being sought. These items purchased with our monies are for the use of the UNC to further its agenda as they impose laws that oppress us, taking away our freedoms anticipating that when pushed too far we will retaliate…and the asshole Minister of National Security walks with a “chip on his shoulder” believing that decent-minded citizens respect him! The Army and Police are to protect and serve with pride the agendas of Sat and Devant Maraj who are clearly spokespersons for the Kamla Persad-Bissessar regime. Six more years Sat claims is needed for them to complete their job, and if over the last 4 years many persons because of their Political, Racial and Religious persuasion have been victimized and marginalized…imagine 5 more! Corruption has been embraced by this UNC government from day one so much so, that the Auditor General’s Office has become literally impotent as the “law” and other institutions which safe-guard the public’s interest remain restricted in the execution of balance and justice. This is the shameful picture that is now Trinidad and Tobago. And Prakash continues to lend 100% support to an agenda that is clearly not national in purpose but rather religious and racist! Stay tuned for a “new and revised” COP image, as the UNC employs and promotes its Bastard-Child. The country is waiting though, and no amount of Drones and Police and Army brutality will deny us Justice! To the deceitful and corrupt government of UNC people….SHAME on you!!! For you are not and have never been the government of the republic of Trinidad and Tobago…but rather a bunch of opportunists that gained power through deceptive means! This is your last year in “government”!
