I am so happy today alongside everyone else that dixie is home safe. 6 reunites since this group started just over 2 weeks ago. But can I ask if your bird has come home dont keep them in their cage in fear of them escaping again especially if they are use to coming out their cage. There are other steps you can take to insure they dont escape again and our administration are willing to advise on steps you can take to prevent future escapes. We also have info in our files on steps you can take. If your bird has been reunited after being missing I strongly advise to feed them scrambled egg with the shell crushed into it and fresh cooked chicken. Feed them.this straight away as it will help boost there calcium levels and protein. Still give them there normal feed too. But please check that these are safe with your breed of bird as there may be other alternatives. If your bird does not seem itself or any wounds get them straight down to the vets.
