I am so sorry I missed this. I have a son with profound autism, and was unable to find caregivers for the weekend. Bringing him with me would not have worked, unfortunately, as he also has a number of serious medical issues. But I expect to be making more trips to Concord as my parents are 90 and 93, and although fiercely independent, they are definitely needing some help. Although Ive tried for 20 years to move them to beautiful Cary, NC, where I could more easily step in to help as needed, I was not successful. Anybody interested in getting together the next time I come up, please message me and Ill get in touch with you when I take the next trip. I expect it to be sooner rather than later. Glad everybody had a great time! Im sure everybodys changed a lot (I know I have) so its like making new friends whenever you meet somebody from the past. You cant beat that!
