I am still reeling from viewing the movie Noah. As some of you may know, I do not take the Bible literally but believe it is a history written from the perspective of humans and that it is a guideline for living. I understand that a movie must condense biblical events, and I realize the need for artistic license. However, there is no relationship between this movie and the biblical story of Noah and the great flood. The movie could have been a fantasy genre tale about a man named George and his three sons Tom, Dick, and Harry who lived on the planet Mars as far as Im concerned. Oh, lets not forget their super powerful friends the Rock Creature Transformers and the ark that looked like a fort. Just knowing there was controversy, especially from the Bible Thumpers, did not keep me from going to the movie. I had to see and judge for myself. I suppose there will be awards for great acting and special effects, but, to say the least, I was horribly disappointed. The following link expresses my reaction a little better.
