I am stupid and would have been much stupider if I was not - TopicsExpress

I am stupid and would have been much stupider if I was not introduced to reading. Instead of listing 10 books, I am only writing about only one book which had the maximum impact on the learning curve of my life... Problems in General Physics by I. E. Irodov. This book has taught me how much difficult a problem may look there always exist a solution, at least in the guidebook. It has taught me to be humble and accept the fact that there are people who can still solve those problems and you can obviously copy their solution. It has taught me life in general is much more complex than what we think, specially when integration comes in physics. It has taught me that we should not be stuck with a problem and move on; we can even derive satisfaction and boost our happiness by solving problems from HC Verma, if not Irodov. PS: I had deja-vu with Digital Signal Processing by Proakis but by that time I was a much learned man.
