“I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. He will come in and go out, and find pasture.” ~ John 10:9 What is salvation and how can we receive it? Can we do good Things and be assured of it? If we live a good life can we be part of it? If we try not to sin, are we going to receive it? How can we be sure we are saved? Salvation is attained only through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, who died on the cross to save mankind. Ephesians 2:8-9 Says, “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-not by works, so that no one can boast.” Isaac Watts wrote the hymn, When I Survey the Wondrous Cross. His lyrics say it all: “When I survey the wondrous cross, 0n which the Prince of Glory died, my richest gain I count but loss, and pour contempt on it all my pride.” There is no way to salvation but through faith in Jesus Christ. It is by God’s grace that we are saved and only by Him can we be Redeemed from sin. Romans 10:9 says. “That if you confess with your month, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” Do you believe?
