I am thrilled to let you know that I will play Punxsutawney Phil in the Broadway remake of Groundhog Day. There was a script rewrite (and a big improvement, I’d say) – Phil is central character in the play, and the (let’s be honest, pretty clichéd) love story takes the backseat. Recent events where Phil is sued for getting the forecast wrong have been incorporated in the script – it is a much more tense, raw, honest material now. Rehearsals start in a couple of months. I will keep you updated!
