I believe farewells are more important then greetings. The reason is: when you say a farewell you are sending that person off with whatever feelings or word you say. That person carries those words in there mind until there next conversation. Feeling the tone and emotion you put into that last sentence is very unlike a hello which will be quickly followed up by a conversation. You never really think deeply about a greeting because it is gone before you need too notice it. I also feel this way about Goodnight. It is what I find the most important sentence you could say in a day and we should try to make it the most positive. Such as when you hug your mother and say goodnight you will not see her until the morning and I feel its the most important thing to see her off to sleep with the happy words goodnight mom, I love you whispering in her ears. And Without another word. ~Goodnight, have a lovely sleep. Cant wait until we meet up again!
