I blogged today. I want yall to know how MUCH I appreciate all youve done to spread the word about the third Mephisto book. No one can say the book isnt selling for lack of trying. But the bottom line is, its not selling. I havent sold a copy in 3 days. Not one. Anywhere. Despite Damariss awesome, amazing incredible superfast turnaround cover reveal blog tour. There were over 4500 entries in the rafflecopter giveaway, lots of wonderful comments on those blogs from seemingly enthusiastic people - and I sold 10 books. I dropped the eBook price to $3.99 and sold...wait for it...no books. I knew when I decided to self publish that it was a risk. Im not sorry - not at all. At a minimum, I got to write Phoenixs book, which I was compelled to do. But the gravy? Ive so enjoyed hanging out here with you guys. It made writing the book insanely fun. Your enthusiasm kept me going through the hard parts. I dont personally know a lot of you, but I feel like I do - I am so appreciative of your warmth and kindness - and your patience as I stumble through this self-publishing experience. Its odd - the historical I put out in July, that I spent almost no money advertising, has sold 4 times the number that this Mephisto book has sold. So I spent 4 times the money and made 4 times less. Hmm. Theres some interesting math there, but I hate math, and so will leave you with the link to my blog. Its short, and asks a question and I would love your opinion.
