I can’t help by love this time of year, although I still feel the same anxiety I felt three years ago on 10/31/2011 when following an ambulance home from Moffitt Cancer Center from Tampa to Jupiter. It was the longest three hours of my life. We made the decision as family to take my dad home, so he could lay to rest surrounded by his family and friends. My dad said, he wanted to come home for Halloween after months and months in the hospital trying to fight off this deadly disease, CANCER. Halloween was his favorite holiday and because of that I will always celebrate it, just like he would want me too. After-all, my dad was always the life of every party!
