I cheated today. I was supposed to work on the Eli story but I needed to write down some ideas I had for the first Summer Hill book. The next thing I knew it was 2 p.m., I was dizzy with hunger, and I had most of the book outlined. In my never-ending quest to keep my mind from going dead, I think I’m going to have 2 men and 2 women as main characters. I’m not sure who the second man is. Ranleigh or Leland Hartley. The photo is in New York City. That’s where I’m living now. It’s very easy to live in this city. Everything can be delivered to you and anything you need is within walking distance. My gym is 6 stories and truly fabulous. I’m still in my small apartment and it has a terrace. My new one doesn’t. I’m still waiting to hear if I’ve been accepted by the condo board. It’s been a month now. Kayden O’C, I don’t know what to say. How awful! My prayers are with you. My English publishing house asked me to tell them my favorite hero. I think they meant in books but I told about a real hero, Captain Sir Richard Frances Burton. Do you have any real life heroes? Jude
