I continue to be amazed how much people are shocked when you dare show your weakness. Was chatting with someone I have become pretty close to since 2012. So I was sharing with them how marriage can be challenging at times. Jus musing how in 09 we came close to getting a divorce . He was jus fed up of me over extending myself for people he didnt think cared at his expense. So funny when we each insisted the other keep everything, we just laughed . Decided since we love each other so much to want the other person to have it all we might as well stick together. So we have been through bigger challenges but have never since considered divorce. So she was saying the first time she saw me was when I spoke at a function and asked for prayer for my marriage. I said we came close to getting a divorce . I forgot the ripples it caused. The memories came flooding back. While I will not share all the intricacies of my life , from time to time I will share some my struggles. I thank God for the testimonies of those who have been encouraged by my testimonies. I want people to know I am not a super hero, I struggle and pain like everyone else. I serve a God who works in me , both to will and to do of good pleasure. So as I relax on a Sunday afternoon with my family I thankful we stayed the course . We allowed Jesus to be truly Lord of our lives. Ayiti- Kenya would not have been here. So I am thinking how many quit too soon? ( you all know my stand on abuse of any kind- I running)
