I cried myself to sleep last night. I cried for you … I cried for me. I cried for all the earth and all the people who are presently not free. For all the things they cannot do, for all they feel and believe they can never be. I cried for all the things we miss because we walk with blinders on our eyes. Passing daily little beauties crying out their bliss, screaming “notice me” you guys. But in the end, as sleep weighed heavy upon my eyes, the reason for the last tears that rolled down upon my cheeks was rather a surprise. As I cried those final tears … in that very second I knew that which streamed forth from my eyes was something no one could ever take away from me. My love for you, my love for me, my love for all humanity. And some how, for some reason I cannot explain ~ those tiny drops of liquid emotion set my heart and soul a flame. The tears I weep are not in vain. They are an expression of universal pain. We might all look different and come from different places on earth, oh but how we all ~ every single human being ~ shed such tears from the moment of our birth. I cried myself to sleep last night.
