I decided to try this experiment at home...here is my full report. First, it worked just as pictured in above videos. However, my thinking on why may differ from the experts analysis. The flame from a butane torch is not very hot. It doesnt burn completely, therefore soot is left behind. (I feel that explains the black deposits on the snowball.) As for the non-melting, I hope my explanation is adequate. As the heat is applied, the cold rushes away, toward the center, hence no visible melting. I did notice that the snowball compressed and iced over as I moved the torch around the ball, preventing any further rapid melting. There is one thing I observed that may support their chemtrail theory. There was an unmistakeable plastic odor in the air, and on the snowball, which could not easily be attributed to the butane. Pollution? Perhaps. More likely than not, it was my imagination, as I had embarked on the experiment looking for, and therefore expecting a certain result.
