I didnt snuggle as much with the human as I planned today, but I did stay close to her all the time. There was no sun, so no sun puddles either anyway, and Herman was a good boy today, so I had no reason to retreat upstairs. As you know, Herman naps a lot on the top level of the cat tree, and I in the hammock. Today we turned the tables for a while. But soon enough I remembered why I didnt do that anymore though. The hammock is maybe half a meter above the floor and the top level of the cat tree about two meters. When Herman tries to play with me in the hammock (which is way too small now for playing), I can easily step out of it. But when he tries to play with me on the top level of the cat tree (which is even smaller than the hammock), I have to be careful not to fall down! So after a while we switched again and Herman took the top level, while I napped in the hammock. Dushi got her second chance to go out today. The first time she was back within a few minutes. She only checked the shed and then came back. The second time she checked the whole backyard and the neighbors backyard too. The human says she could see exactly where Jinx (or other cats) had sprayed, cause there she kept sniffing longer. She left the backyard for maybe half a minute and came back again. And again she wanted to come back inside the house within 5 minutes. The first time she went out today, she knew Jinx was in the kitchen. One of my friends suggested maybe thats why Dushi came back so soon: Cause she didnt want to leave the human with Jinx. The friend may be right, but the second time she never even noticed Jinx when she went outside. When the door between the kitchen and the hall opens, Jinxs duvet is behind it, and this time Dushi only noticed Jinx when she came back inside. But after these second 5 minutes, Dushi did seem satisfied, cause she hardly meowed anymore. Maybe the full moon has a part in Dushis not wanting to stay outside, but the weather for sure has too. As I already said, Herman was a good boy today. He did try to play with me one or two times when I didnt feel like it, but the one time I did play along, he didnt bite my ears. Even then I dont play with him for very long, cause I do still get tired very easily, but both Herman and me, and the human too, enjoy these short moments. Even Dushi has her playful moments towards Herman. Herman doesnt know what to think of it yet, cause of course Dushi does it in her own way and not too gentle, but he seems to find it exciting too. Dushi then jumps towards him and slaps or pokes him. The human knows she means it playful, cause both her ears and her tail are up then. It never lasts long, but still, its quite something for the queen. And sometimes Herman does challenge Dushi too by jumping towards her, but hes smart enough to jump or run away right away then. Usually he then hides in the play tunnel, cause theres four different escapes there. Oh, and about Dushis pic: The human laughed about it, cause she says Dushi looks like a human old lady with no teeth there The human sat down on the kitchen floor with Jinx for a while, but forgot to bring her phone to take pics. I think the full moon influences Jinx too, cause he was a bit moody. He enjoyed the human petting him for a while and didnt really try to bite her, but he came close and when he had enough of it after a while, he went outside. And that was another lazy day for me.
