I do not condone the murder of police officers. That said, I do - TopicsExpress

I do not condone the murder of police officers. That said, I do not condone the murder of innocent citizens or their pets by police officers, either. There IS a concerted problem in this country of law enforcement exacting unnecessary violence against the citizen and using resisting arrest as an all-purpose justification for all manner of criminal behavior on the part of law enforcement. SWAT raids being used to serve simple warrants...civil forfeiture being used as a means for law enforcement to outright steal the private property of the citizen without charging the citizen with a crime...the murder of innocent citizens and their pets...the TSA violating 4th Amendment rights at every airline terminal and numerous bus and train stations. Law enforcement, today, may not quite be at the level of the Gestapo, but it is certainly headed in that direction. Ive been wrongly arrested and watched as a police officer lied on the stand and in my police report. Luckily, she left her dash cam running, which exonerated me, but not before I spent 36 hours in jail and $3,200 in legal fees. Anyone that actually believes a person in this country is innocent until proven guilty has not seen the US justice system at work. Nothing could be further from the truth. Although law enforcement officers take oaths to defend the US Constitution, citizens are interrogated at every turn and using methods that are directly in violation of those oaths. The simple question at a traffic stop, Do you know what the speed limit is? is not some innocent inquiry. It is an attempt to evoke an admission of guilt from the citizen, and a direct violation of the citizens 5th Amendment rights. But these types of questions are not anomalies, they are endemic to the law enforcement culture because that is how they are trained. Police are paid public employees of the taxpayer. No one forces them to become law enforcement personnel...they volunteer. And, as their employer, I am not interested in hearing about how difficult their job is. They can find another job anytime they wish. What I do NOT pay them to do is intimidate and abuse me, their employer, with petty bullshit laws that are created to generate revenues and make law enforcers revenue producers, criminalizing the citizen to the extent the US has the highest incarceration rate of any country in the world. Meanwhile, police officers commit murder before our very eyes and go unpunished... Law enforcement in this country is a problem and its getting worse, not better. The criminals in our banking system that have destroyed millions of lives, as well as our economy, wander free on the streets while a man that sells untaxed cigarettes is murdered before our very eyes because the state and their revenue producers didnt get their cut. There are now literally thousands of videos showing blatant law enforcement abuse of the citizen. Not innuendo...not implication...but direct video evidence of crimes being committed against the citizen by law enforcement. There is no excuse for this. None.
