I dont usually track my food because I get really obsessed with it but I made some changes this week and since Monday Ive lost over 3 pounds. What did I change? Ive probably doubled the amount of fat I was eating, which means there was also an increase in calories consumed. Did I just blow your mind? It just goes to show you that its not JUST about calories, or about low fat. I am fairly certain I am not in ketosis because my carb count is too high, so thats not the reason. I also havent changed or added new exercise. So far today my macros are: Carbohydrate (37%), Fat (47%) and Protein (16%). Fat is not evil, if it is the right kind of fat. My sources of fat have included avocado, coconut milk (the real, super thick and creamy stuff), organic shelled hemp seeds and grass fed beef.
