Im in total gratitude that I got to dress up with my little Cowardly Lion yesterday and be his Dorothy. My tin man fittingly proved his heart by making the sacrifice for his family by working until 11pm last night, not seeing his little buddy on halloween, after getting up at 4:30 am, as he will be doing for the forseeable future, for which I am overwhelmingly proud of him. My Pop Pops favorite movie was Wizard of Oz and he always used to refer to Dorothy in the reference of having everything you need within you and in front of you, that you need not look for more because you have everything in your life you could ever want or need, whether you realize it or not. And I have truly awoken to that awareness this past few years, although he is gone and he is unable to see it- I know hes damn proud anyway. He always said that my journeys and travels I will go on will be fulfilling but you will always come back home metaphorically. And I am home and have never been happier, I have found home within myself and with my little family. I hope everyone had a KICKASS halloween, I am in love with all these pics I am seeing of all my friends and their little ones, so freaking adorable I cannot take it. Much love!
