I don’t know anything about the riots in East St. Louis other than they said the male killed was unarmed with his hands raised. Raised hands may be misleading. With these video clips from Tom Cruise movies (Tom Cruise practices 4 hrs. a day for months to get his shooting skill and speed perfect for this movie) and also a true to life professional gun shooter cast as an assassin in the Miami Vice show … these fast draws from raised hands show how fast things can turn around. Again, this is NOT Hollywood magic, its real people, real time shooting and draws. Incidentally, the Miami vice video was a 1 segment video … ONLY 1 Take. The professional shooter was paid reportedly $25,000 for the day of gun shooting, and when they asked how many takes he would need he just said let me know when the camera is rolling … One Take, $25,000, history done … the video sound only records 2 shots (but he fired 3 to reduce the perceived violence I suspect.
