I don’t know if it was faith or the universe working in mysterious ways but at the beginning of 2009 I had a truly sureal experience which involved success legend Brian Tracy. Being a devotee of personal development and success thinking I had read books, courses and viewed videos of Brian Tracy for many years. Brian in case you did not know is a New York Times best selling author, advisor to the top Inc 500 companies and highly sought after International speaker was an idol to me. He simply is a master of success. When you think of success gurus like Zig Ziglar, Anthony Robbins, Les Brown & Bob Proctor, Brian Tracy comes from the same stable. A 4 Way Conference Call With Brian Tracy So in January 2009 I got a call from a dear friend of mine Gary Parker, who I had worked closely with in a previous network marketing business. Gary excitely called me and asked me if I had looked at the email he sent me about the Brian Tracy business. I replied no, but if he held on I would open it up there and then and have a look. What came up on my computer was an impressive site related to a new network marketing company launching called iLearningGlobal and that Brian Tracy was involved. Being the skeptic that I am I told Gary I would research it in the next few days and check the company out. My first thought is it looked a little too good to be true however I did trust my friend Gary. As promised I looked into the company and all checked out but I was still hesitant as to becoming involved as I was not really looking for a new project at the time. Then Gary told me that the guy who introduced him to the company, Eric Allen knew Brian Tracy personally and that Eric was keen to speak to me. At that point I said to Gary a little arrogantly, if this Eric guy is in Brian Tracy’s inner circle, get him to arrange a 4 way conderence call with Brian and us, not believing for one second he was going to make it happen so I left it at that. Then the next day Gary called me up and said the call with Brian Tracy is on. I’m like, no way, still not really believing it but quietly super excited. A few days later myself and Gary dialled into a conference call to talk with this Eric guy and Brian. We were on the line for 10 mins or so and NO Brian Tracy or Eric showed up. I knew it was too good to be true I said to myself. Well it turned out Eric’s son had been rushed to the hospital and this was why he could not get a message to us. Being a father myself I totally understood and we rescheduled the call for two days later. Two days later we dialled into the call again and BOOM, Brian Tracy was on the call. After introductions Brian says hey Shush I am so excited about talking with you and working with you, I checked your site out and truly admire your success. That was enough for me I was in! We then made a committment to go to Las Vegas in the next couple of weeks to meet with Brian at the launch event. Getting Brian Tracy To Be Good For Nothing In February 2009 myself and Gary went to Las Vegas and we met with Brian Tracy and had an instant rapport. I managed to get Brian to come along to the UK and Ireland to do a couple of launch events for the business as we were in his team. April 26th 2009 I picked Brian up from London Heathrow and drove him to London Gatwick for a launch event for a business we were involved in together. I had the opportunity to interview Brian for 40 minutes while in the car. It was a wonderful journey. Brian is a true gentleman and one of the greatest business minds in the world.
