I feel like I always post for opinions here, but this group has a very wide range of dog owners with great understanding. Again if not allowed please delete. A dear friend of mine is moving four hours away with someone I dont particularly trust, but I cant stop others from their choices. So that is neither here nor there. However she told me today she wants two protection dogs, raised and trained with her, that will be intimidating with the follow through; but also a breed that can be around children and other dogs (she owns a basset hound). Can anyone suggest a breed to fit this? Were in the US. Again if not allowed please delete( but redirecting me to a different group would be helpful!)
