I feel like a kid with their Christmas toy wish book. I have had the class schedule for the 2015 Wilderness Wildlife Week for weeks now, just no time to get it printed and start going through it. I skimmed over it to get a quick peak and to see when our classes would be, but now, now I have a chance to set with the highlighter and pencil, planning out the 8 days!!! For this homeschool nature loving, local history buff, critter obsessed, teach out side the box kind of moma...this makes me happy. Planning ahead on the classes we will help me figure out what I can do beforehand to enhance the class and afterwards to take it beyond!!! If you have never been, you need to make plans for at least a day there Jan. 24-31, 2015 in Pigeon Forge. It is all FREE!!!! Hundreds of class options about photography, local history, nature, hiking, wildlife, music, art, world travels, storytelling, and live animals! In my opinion the BEST event offered in our area EVER! Yes, for those that know...it is time for me to start sharing like crazy promoting this event and no I do not work for them :) it is just an amazing FREE asset we have right in our backdoor, especially for homeschoolers, but if kids end up with some snow days from public schools and roads are good you need to go!
